How I Got where I am

This has been my most requested blog topic this week so here we go. If you were to tell me a few years ago that I would be in this position I am in right now I would have laughed at you because I have come further than I ever anticipated in such a short space of time. Everything happened so quick that I never had time to reflect until right now.

Now that I think about it, its no mistake I am in this position with this mindset. My dedication alone is second to none I have explored so many avenues in life. I entered a deep depression which lasted a year and a half and as I was starting to recover from it I decided I never wanted to feel so low and unmotivated again. So I bought my first book which was "rich dad poor dad" which changed everything for me mentally. To think I procrastinated buying that book for almost 4 months because it was €20 in Eason's and I couldn't justify spending it.. boy I was wrong. Ever since then something sparked in me I have read 20+ plus books and tried multiple business opportunities such as being a forex trader, shoe reselling, shoe customisation, drop shipping and reselling alcoholic beverages but didn't follow through because it didn't align with my beliefs but them businesses wasn't for me, I just done it mainly because I wanted to try something new.

The very thing I was good at was training myself and others I neglected this for years, countless people told me I should be a personal trainer and that I would make a great coach, but what they seen in me wasn't what I seen in myself and that cost me something more valuable than money... TIME. Don't get me wrong there is a thrill in making money but there's nothing worse than wasted time and you can never buy it back regardless of how much money you make.

When I was around 10-12 years old I was known as the fat kid by all my friends and my brothers friends, I used to get so much abuse for being fat but as I started getting into football and basketball I started losing weight and then developed baby abs. That was the beginning of the end for all my abusers. I became athletic and seemed to dominate all the sports I involved myself in. I started to get bullied less by those around me because I was no longer the fat kid.

I joined the gym around 17-18 years old but the I was never consistent with it. Suddenly I noticed the abuse slowly started to creep back in due to the fact that I was starting to fall off again due to injury and lack of motivation. This time it was a lot more painful because I was trying to better myself so I increased my frequency. Regardless, I was still getting comments thrown at me like " you go to the gym and your still fat" or " ask the gym to give you a refund because your wasting your money", I'm only human so it did hit nerve at times.

6-7 years later the majority of my income is based around me being in shape all year round. I am hopeful for people who have lost hope within themselves, so I help them rekindle it while uplifting their spirit. The same people who have verbally abused me in the past now ask me for advice on how to better themselves because while I was seen as the underdog I knew the vision and understood the process. I am not destined for overnight success and I'm perfectly okay with that but I am destined for success regardless of what I go through in life. My contribution to society is my mindset, work ethic, being the voice for the people who are afraid to speak because they fear nobody will listen to them while amplifying peoples confidence.

If doors don't open for you do not be disheartened, you're probably knocking on the wrong one like i did for several years.

Keep soul searching and exploring what's for you will find you but I suggest you find it first and save yourself some time.

I hope you found value in this short story. Until next time
